Château Yon-Figeac welcomes visitors to its cellars all year round. Maxime Mouchague, our wine tourism director, has designed a range of guided tours to showcase the history and heritage of this charming estate.

Traditional Visit
The visit begins with a presentation of the history of the property, then a discovery of the vines: here the emphasis will be on the importance of the terroir and the blend, two very important concepts in Bordeaux.
The visit will then tackle winemaking in the vat room and aging in the recently renovated barrel cellar.
Finally, you will taste two wines from Les Roches de Yon (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru) and Château Yon-Figeac (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé).

Barrel Tasting
Take the wine yourself from the barrel!
In order to understand the influence of wood on wine, we invite you to taste the same cru from three different barrels. You will have the privilege of tasting a wine being aged.
Origin of the wood, degree of toasting, age of the barrel, volatile aromas will have no more secrets for you! We will also discuss the history of the property, the evolution of the grape and the vinification
Finally, you will taste two wines from Les Roches de Yon (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru) and Château Yon-Figeac (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé).
