The owner, Alain Ch\u00e2teau<\/em><\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text width=”800″ align=”center” text_align=”center”]\n

Alain Ch\u00e2teau purchased the estate in 2005. As a trained engineer with an industrial background, he didn\u2019t always seem destined for life as a winemaker… but his passion for wine and its landscapes decided otherwise. After learning the ropes at several estates in the Anjou region, the opportunity arose to pursue a new winemaking adventure in Saint-\u00c9milion, at Ch\u00e2teau Yon-Figeac.<\/p>\n

Drawing on his industry experience, he adopted a rigorous approach to managing this new estate, pushing all involved to strive constantly to achieve bigger and better things. He also immediately sought out the expert advice of Denis Dubourdieu, Professor at the Bordeaux Faculty of Oenology<\/a>.<\/p>\n
